Best Block Seal?

Okay guys don't kill me, yes I know its a half *** fix or a kheapo fix but hey, they work. So Please don't stone me talking about "Take it to a shop" "get a new or reman head" etc. Well turns out when I overheated I developed a minor crack in my head causing running problems and white smoke from the coolant leaking into the head. About to get another car and in sort of a tight spot right now so I'm just asking what you guys would konsider a good or the best Block Seal to use. Thanks in advance.

So you pretty much closed the thread at the start.

Another car would be more expensive than fixing yours properly.

You seem to have a crack in the head. Not a head gasket issue.

So you want to pour in block seal so that you can pawn the car off on some unsuspecting young buyer?

Another one wouldn't be more expensive, considering the fact the new one is a gift......

I think most of us realize that it does not work without causing other problems by blocking the cooling system.

You want to do something which is not likely to work.

Which is why most of us would install another engine or junk the car.

Why did the car overheat? Radiator, hose, or water pump.?

I have no experience with Steel Seal, but you may want to consider it.

Go to the GM dealer and get their radiator tablets or whatever they call them. They are ginger based and talked about in a good light on bobistheoilguy.com. they are sold under other names, but I don't know those names. I don't see a problem with buying time with a good sealer as long as you disclose the problem with the next buyer and price accordingly.
