LED Headlight Bulb for Retro-Fit Headlights

Does anyone know why LED 1157 turn signal bulbs don't seem to work in a 4th gen Maxima? There is power being feed to the harness but the LED doesn't seem to work, just regular 1157 bulbs work.

Did you flip the bulb around and try it?

Yeah and they all lit up, but it doesnt lock in that way.

Just cut one of the nubs off and lock the bulb in the other way.

Been using the above in the clearance lights for a year and a half - match my retro HIDs perfectly (DDM 5000K I think). It's been a while but you probably have to remove one of the nubs (nail clipper or file) for it to fit the right orientation.
