My rotors are really nasty. The rust on the part of the rotor that comes closet to the wheel are quite an eye sore. I have Stillen X-Drilled rotors for the front, but Im debating whether or not to sell them.
My question is, is there such thing as new cheap rotors that will do the job for a decent amount of time (6-8 months)?
Or can someone point me in the direction of some rear X drilled rotors? For some reason places such as Ebay only offer the front pair for a reasonable price.
thanks

AMICO had some recalls! They have a tendency to crack, check the federal trade commission. The best that you can do for the money are Raybestos/prostop. They are well made. Go to Pepboys and purchase them. keep all of your "reciepts", because they have a one year warranty, whereas before a year is up you can replace them free of charge, again granted you save the reciept and return the old ones. Also you may do the same for their brake pads. Their brake pads are for a lifetime (same vehicle). There are several kinds, make sure you get the ones specifically stating lifetime warranty. I replace mine every year (1,000 miles per wk avg.). Oh and their front brake calipers are about $80.00 for the set. I never turn my rotors and or pay for any pads! Also use some ford heavy duty dot-3 (550 degree f boiling point), i called the dealer to confirm it. 96se auto 161,500 miles Amsoil 0w-30,Amsoil SDF-13 O.F. Amsoil foam air filter, Redline "Water Wetter". Dunlop SP Sport 5000's. Good luck on your final selection

...make sure they are made in the US.
If you want plain rotors, most autoparts chain stores sell the Bendix brand for about $50 a piece.

Seems like a good deal. Do they use stock calipers or the big brembos? I am not very familiar with these.Originally posted by Xtreme5053
