I have a 97. Again, always had an intermittent long crank issue. Recently replaced the injectors because they were leaking. Did some other repairs while I was in there (cleaning, gasket replacing, etc). Still wouldn't start. I chalked it up to clogged cats so the y pipe and main cat are off and o2 sensors are unplugged at the moment. Crank and cam sensors have all been cleaned, grounds are all nice looking, and a new fpr is installed. Go to start it, and it cranks nice and fast, and strong, and then she backfires out of the intake. So I changed the fuel filter, thinking it would help, and no difference. Ideas?
