Hey guys I just have a quick question. I got a 97 se stick that I got not too long ago. My interior fuse box cover is missing so I don’t know what fuse is for what. I tried looking for the diagram online but it’s kinda confusing. Did my max ever come with a cig lighter or is that just the 12v outlet. It’s not working now so I gotta check the fuse. Can someone tell me which one it is. The slots are numbered 1-40. Thx
I would believe that my 95 A32 Maxi (Known as a A32 Cefiro to you guys) most likely uses the same or very similar fuse box as yours, so to answer the question, its #19 most likely.
See that "odd one out" light blue 15A fuse, in spot #6 from the top of the left row? thats should be you accessory socket fuse. If you have a Multimeter handy you can put it onto Continuity mode and put the probes across the the little metal tabs exposed on the top of the fuse to check it, it should come back as basically zero ohms if its good, or as Open circuit if its blown.
I actually replaced mine with a Manual reset Mini blade circuit breaker as i have a habit of popping them sometimes with my inverter.
Heres some photos for you.
#19 which is your accessory fuse is the one i currently have the 10A Circuit breaker installed in. It was a 15A breaker (OEM fuse spec is 15A) however i am currently re-doing all the accessory cabling with 12GA cable controlled by 30A relays with a 4GA cable from the alternator to the new distribution block, so the factory circuit is now just used to power the relays. Im about to write up a thread on how i did it. Im redoing it all because the factory cabling is **** with huge voltage drop.
#19, thats your offending Accessory fuse slot.
Here is the fuse box cover from my Maxi, it should be the same or very similar to yours.

I know double posting is frowned upon, but here its best to keep this post separate from my above one probably.
So my fusebox is variant "43U00", and yours is "56U00", and with a quick google search i found a match for yours, and it is indeed, Mostly the same as mine with a few slight differences. The accessory fuse is still the same #19 though.

Thx a lot buddy. Fuse was blown of course. So got a set of 5 for like 4 bucks at autozone and replaced it with a new one. All good now. Thx again
