Replaced ignition lock with new key
My Girls old key broke inside the ignition and after getting it out the lock was trashed... I bought a new one with the key... Do I need to program the key to start the car etc... And how do I do it? Its a 1997 with Auto Trans...

No, you do not have to program the key to the car. That started with the 1999 Max. Just turn the key and go zoom...
I have not had to replace just the ignition tumbler, so I can't tell you how. But if you have to remove the entire ignition key and lock assembly, it is held on with 2 bolts that have a smooth rounded head (like a carriage bolt) that won't let you put a wrench on it. You can cut a slot in it with a hacksaw or a dremel tool and use a screwdriver or drill a hole and use an easy out.
