changing front end on I30

changing front end on I30

Could I take the front end of a maxima and put it on the I30, what it sound crazy why? So i can
1: Put on a body kit
2: put on carbon fiber hood
3:Be the only one out there

thoughts? complaints? put um here, I wanna hear it all.

If you can put an I30 front and a Cefiro rear end on a Maxima, you can put a Maxima front end on an I30.

For those who don't know ... member SYCefiro is the one who put an I30 front and a Cefiro rear on his Max.

I would change to an I30 front end so I can get those sweet one piece lights, but that's just me. For the money it would take to swap you could buy those lights and have a lip custom molded.

Personally, I can't see why you would want to make do the swap. Imho, the I30 front end looks all classy and expensive... I kinda like it.

I agree with Weasel, a custom lip would be sweet.

But whatever does it for ya man, the Maxima front end is pretty sweet too.

I debated putting the I30 front on my max but didn't want to spend the $$. I like the front but I like the max's back better. Would be definately be different.

why not just get a Maxima then? i really like the I30 front end, and I do have those one piecers...

whoa whoa whoa whoa..

for the price to fit a maxima front end and all the parts and all, why not pay to have a kit FITTED to fit your front end and have the carbon fiber hood custom hinged so that it will fit, the width of the i30 and maxima cant be TOO different, so i am sure you wouldnt have too many problems using that CF hood.

you'd be happier getting it all custom molded and fitted.

going from i30 to maxima is like a honda accord going to a honda civic..

Well I would have to build it so that the grill doesnt come up with the hood thats right it comes up with the hood!

Correction...he has done a front and rear Cefiro conversion.

I might be able to hook you up with a Cefiro front bumper. There are few front lips for the CEFIRO front end.. and I am looking into that.
But don't expect to see it too soon.. probably in spring..

yup... you got it all wrong Mr. Shu jr. you need to get the swwet headlights that every maxima owner wants but needs an i30 front to fit. you are crazy to do anything else.
