PO 1335 Crank Sensor error code

PO 1335 Crank sensor code keeps coming up. This error code is specific to the crank sensor that’s located on the right side of the engine or at the front of the car. Not real sure how to better describe its location.

anyway...I’ve purchased every crank sensor out there. I’ve bought some off Amazon for $10 and even got one from auto zone for $100 and EVERY sensor makes the engine run worse.

When I put the new sensors in the engine will start but it idles VERY ROUGH! The engine lopes like it has a monster cam in it. I bet I’ve tried 7 different crank sensors and each one has the same results.

i can get a crank sensor from the dealer but for $350! NFW! When I put the old sensor back in the engine will start and idle just fine. The symptom is this code is hard starting and an almost metal to metal sound when starting. That can’t be good.

hoping someone has an idea as to what’s happening.

I bet that the connection between the the sensor and the wiring harness is loose or defective.

it gets looser every time you attach it to a new sensor.

I'd say you need to buy a new or junk yard connector to replace the one you have.
