Hey everyone. would anyone know how to take the clip off of the sun visor? Not the clip that has the wire to the mirror end but the other end nearest the rear view mirror.
I've taken the screw out of the clip but I cannot drop the headliner down because I cannot get this clip off of the head liner. I tried some force but don't want to force it too much and break it
or rip the headliner.

 

The clip that holds the ends from moving when forward needs to be pried out from either the front side of the car side or the back leverage on the clip. Unfortunately, because of their age, one side will crack during the process sometimes, so coax it out to reduce that possibility. In my case, the screw holds it in place fine after losing one hook of the clip.

Thanks KP. It was easy to gently pry them out from the side. Luckily, they did not break.
