Temp gauge going down when driving?

I changed my valve covers (3.5 swap). Going to work my temp gauge went to normal and stayed there for a while. Then I noticed the needle going down. Any clues here?

I was wondering the same
Loose/broken wire or bad temp sensor?
Also the RPM needle is fluctuating.
Here's a vid: Skip the first 20 sec or so.

The gauge has a bad wire. As for the rough idle, thinking pcv valve or vac leak somewhere.
Going to investigate further.
