TPS after replacement, slight loss of power
Hey guys,
Second post here, Im currently having an issue with my 97'. Just recently she has obtained a slight loss of power when pressing the acceleration pedal.
The last issue I had was puttering when driving, no issues at idle. I replaced the TPS and the car has been working wonderfully up until recently.
Ive recently replaced the fuel pump, fuel filter, mass airflow sensor (3rd party manufacture) and TPS (from junk yard) and cleaned the throttle body, ECG valve and cleaned the Intake manifold. I also use premium.
I was wondering what I should check first? Should I try to tighten the TPS to increase the idle RPMS to give it that little boost?
or is it really nothing to worry about? Ive only noticed once when idling that the rpms will drop just about to where it wants to shut off.
