The ignition timing on all VQ-series engines is not adjustable via any sensor adjustments. The only way to adjust the timing is via a reprogrammed ECU (like JWT or GForce).
Others have tried unsuccessfully to adjust the timing via modifications to the crank position sensor. Bottom line is it cannot be done.
