Car idles fine durning startup when it gets warmer it idles rough.

To give the back story on this. I bought my 98 Maxima (auto) last year and have absolutely loved this thing. Was a 1 owner vehicle and had to do a bunch of work to it as of recently.. Alternator, front and rear valve cover gaskets, EGR delete, spark plugs (no coils though as they were tested still good), PCV valve, replaced old vacuum line and cleaned throttle body. After everything said and done I cannot get the idle to stay at 750 in park as it chokes between 725-750, running lean. In drive I have a staggering 650 idle. Drives pretty good on acceleration, no hesitation. but if stopped for too long it will hesitate upon acceleration and idle rough between 500-650.. It has shot a p0505 code but went away after adjusting the iacv (also cleaned iacv). My mechanic has deemed it to be the iacv. However since adjusting the iacv it hasn't shot a code since and still idles really lean and rough. Have no vacuum leaks as I have searched everywhere the past 2 weeks. Does this sound iacv related? I bought another one just waiting for it to come in the mail. But too paranoid thinking this isn't going to solve it cause it hasn't shot another code. My car has shot a knock sensor code since I have had it but has been deemed faulty. Anyone deal with this situation before ?

Adjust or, if necessary, replace the throttle position sensor.

Remember also … when adjusting the currently installed sensor or when adjusting a new one … make the adjustments with the engine at normal operating temperature.

I had a similar issue, which would eventually kick out a front bank lean code after idling too long. I have two mafs I swap between, both did have that issue (just one worse than the other). Cleaning one of the mafs with maf cleaner helped a lot with the issue and I have not had that problem come up since. Maybe with a shot.

Iacv has been set while car was warm and idling for awhile, I'll keep the TBPS in mind. I have had it idling for over a half hour, and driving it around and still hasn't shot a code. Never had a maf code come up and was very delicate with it while unassembling everything. I'll give it a shot to clean it but just worried I'm going to make it worse with my luck with life lately lol. This car still has alot of original parts too, has 270 000 kms (154 000 miles). I wouldn't be surprised if the maf has only been cleaned twice in its life, just from the condition everything is in and what has been found. But never had this issue before the "surgery" though. Deleted the EGR cause it did shoot a code like 4 months ago and never came back but I don't want to deal with that nightmare later on. And the carbon buildup in EGR components were horrendous.
