Hi All,
I need a diagram of the thickness of every shim on a 1995 maxima.

I’m thinking that a bit more specificity might help.

OK. I have a 1995 Nissan Maxima. I need to know the shim thickness for each valve so I know where each goes. The shims got shuffled during an engine rebuild and I need to put them back where they belong. Thanks for replying.

Have you checked the Factory Service Manual (FSM)? See my signature for a free download where it says "click me".

EDIT: nevermind. You already started a thread on this topic and I answered you. Absolutely no reason to start another thread on the exact subject matter.

There is a specific valve clearance for intake and exhaust valves. One measures the clearance one has, then adjust to spec by adding ir removing shims.
You, nor anyone else knows what shim combination you had before parts got mixed up. So Noone can tell you which specific shim goes under which valve.

Few of us ever adjust our valves, even if owning the car since new.

I have. I don't know if it was from you on a different post or someone else, it's not in there.

I agree. I thought it was a different forum. The UI looked different.
