Dammit...Roadkilled.....my car needs mods...like yesterday
Ok, so i'm on my way to drop my girl off at this club last night around 1:30am (yes I trust her like that) so I jump on the southern state at exit 13. As I begin to merge into the highway at about 70mph a black coupe zooms past followed by a GS 300 not a 400. I love eating those types so I take off the overdrive and punch my slotomatic to join the race. In no time i'm up the GS's behind and pass him easily. Maybe he wasn't really racing but who cares. I'm pulling on the black coupe now at about 100mph and begin to make out the unmistakeable mercedes emblem on the back. Now, I'm excited! Some quick sick moves around these two cars enables me to pull along side of his back bumper long enough to see the CLK430 emblem on the back before he decides to get serious. At about 110 he obviously punches it harder and pulls away and in front of me to let me smell his exhaust fumes and the bitter taste of defeat. He was only about 2 or 3 car lengths ahead of me and we both slow down since we were getting off at the same exit. I was annoyed of the lost at first but my girl (who has never seen me lose) says....damn Greg your car is pretty fast if your keeping up with a car like that. You know what, she's absolutely right being that the CLK430 cost like 40g's more than my 95max. Even though, I wanna smoke those V8 bastards or at least be right there on them. All in all i am still proud of my baby cuz even in defeat she still impresses me. Maybe if I give in to the mod bug i'll represent the max better. Give me feedback people. Thanks.

Nice run!! I'm coming from the fast but almost stock auto myself, so I know how you feel. Believe me, you are going to need a lot of mods to keep up with those CLK430s. I wish my girl would encourage my racing habit.

NOS kit for Maxi, ~350-500 dollars. Just get a Vortech intake and y-pipe, lighten it up a bit, CF hood, no spare.
As for the JWT chip($500+)

Well it seems like you got the mods to start. Once you install that whole system you will feel a nice gain in pickup and top end. It will definantly make you feel more comfortable taking on some of the bigger guys out there.

i'm sure the benz suspension is better, its not very hard to be better than a solid rear beam like on the maximas..
as for weaving through traffic, are you sure you want to be racing like that? why not find a empty street with no cars on it, or go to the drag strip. no point in putting yours or other peoples lives in danger...
