more hid problems

My passenger HID lamp is not as bright as the driver's side. Also, it flickers when i first fire them up and the driver's side is beautiful, but the passenger side is dimmer. HMMMM

Which kit do you have? Is it the Hanabi kit? They are supposed to flicker when you first turn them on. Maybe there is something wrong with the harness. Give more details.

Just an idea. Try swapping bulbs from one side to the other. If it switches suspect the bulb if not then maybe it is the harness?

It is a Hanabi kit.....only one side flickers then turns to a normal stock headlight color after a min or two.

I had the same problem. One bulb was beautiful and one was on the blue side. Contact Fredddie, 97gles, and he'll get a replacement kit for you. He's a good guy to do business with and will sort it out for you.

Definitely switch the bulbs to see if the problem stays with the bulb. If it doesn't, the ballast could be the problem or even that headlight lense/reflector which may be cloudy.

On my Hanabi Kit, one bulb is slightly blue while the other side is almost pure white. I love them both and could live with either, but I want them to match! Definitely call Freddie up--he'll take care of you.

Good to know if things are not easily fixed that they backup the product.

hint:

check all the connections to see if it's a connection problem, make sure u use ur old spring around an old 9004 bulb to make a tight fit.

1. swap the bulb around and see if ur other side does the same thing. if it does, then it's the bulb. call freddy, it's normal and have the bulbs swappped. upgrade to the purple ones! they are hot!

I don't know if I like the purple that much. The blue looks sick. I accidently have a blue and purple. Im goint to Freddie to get a replacement bulb. The only thing I like about the purple is that is seems to be whiter, that is about it. But they both blink the he!! out of people!!!!!!hehehehe

Mine flicker when turned on but that's normal. As long as they burn at the same temp when they're hot, that's what matters.
