I just hit 100K miles in my 97 Max

I just rolled over 100K miles in my 97 Max Im at like 100,008 right now. Im not really worried about my car lasting long because the tranny seems to be holding up well. I am getting dons vb mod here in the next few weeks so hopefully that will help also. Is there anything that I can do to my engine now to get it back to that new engine feeling? I should probably do a 60K tune up soon. Take Care

ah the american myth that a car will fall apart exactly at 100K. It's a good thing you own a maxima so enjoy the next 100K and relax.

Agreed.

Speaking of which, shouldn't you have like 400k now? All these Canada round trips and stuff should be putting on a lot of miles

same here

I just passed 103k miles. I looked at the engine bay and i have minimal leaks from the head gasket. I also have steering fluid leaking. I might take it to the dealer and get an estimate for a complete tune-up because I don't have time to do it myself. Passing the 100k mark also has me thinking about buying another car now. May be G35....

96se auto 164,300 (since new) all Amsoil lubricants/filtration. Strict preventative maintenance that would drive a dealer insane! oh and always Sunoco Ultra 94 and or Texaco super unleaded. I literally feather my gas pedal! Original tranny Best wishes on your Maxi's longevity endeavors! Relax!

Canada trips, what's up in Canada??

Can you say Bonjour Québec? I love the ladies there, and the deux bijou.
