I have noticed that my 96 max is higher in the front and lower in the back. Also when I push down the back it goes down pretty easily. But on the other hand the front of the car is very hard to push down. Is this springs, struts, what?

The springs hod the car up off the ground. Struts keep it from bouncing too much. Sitting still its the springs that hold it up.

There's an engine up front, so there's more weight to hold up there. The springs are tougher, and it make sense that you can make the back go down more than the front. What don't make sense is that the front of the car is higher. Has someone put a lowering kit on the back perhaps?

I have a Tokico/Intrax combination (1.75" drop) mine sat lower in the back also, along with my friends 95 whom I bought the stuff from and we cut the front springs 1 full coil. My alignment was a little off to start with before the drop and after cutting the coil, there is no change. I've had it like this for a little over a year now and have NO wear problems.... now my car sits even..
(I have a 96 Black SE)
