Tornado Fuel Saver For Maxima

I bet alot of you guys saw the informercial about the new technology break through... Tornado fuel saver.

I have a 95 max, and I am getting like 15-17mpg. Very low, and very expensive. I saw Tornado and was very tempted to buy one. Its $70 without shipping and tax. So about $85, I can start saving 20 bucks a month in gas. Does anyone have this for max and tried it? I'm having doubts about this piece of metal.

To be honest, I have a feeling this will be waste of $70bucks. Just want to hear some real experiences from people who bought it, or people who have opinion about it.

Spend that money on a new fuel filter and a fuel injector cleaning.

The Tornado is so lame. I cant believe people buy that line of BS

Yeah, it's supposedly a POS and I would think it would be. Do you drvie hard, what else would explain your gas milage? I get about 20 mpg average in my 95 5spd and I drive pretty crazy. Don't buy the tornado - use that money to buy 4 more tanks of gas.

Re: NO

15-17 mpg in the city or highway?

Are you running premium, or cheap gas?
How's your air filter? Plugs?
Try the fuel injector cleaner suggested by mzmtg (some suggested Chevron Techron injector cleaner, expensive but supposedly worth the $$$).

Also, are you using some winter oxygenated fuel blend that supposedly gives crappy mileage? I dunno, I don't really drive my Max during the winter so I can't say much about my gas mileage. Last time I pumped a full tank was in November

gas

I know I'm not going to buy it for sure now. If it was 20bucks, maybe I'd thought about it.

Funny thing is, there are some who liked the product. It's not mental, cause they saved money on gas after all.

Not going for 80bucks for sure.

I used to put in 87 gas all the time, and I recently pumped it with 91. The gas needle stayed at full for like 4 days. But, after awhile, even 91 gas dont do much anymore. My max is getting old. By the way, i'm getting 15-17 mpg mostly local, and little bit of freeway.

Nah, I recommend three in parallel, because the flow will be much better through the system and you'll have better throughput for performance.

If you put 20 in parallel, maybe the gas will go from the engine to the gas tank ... you'll be making gas! *POOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT* .... excuse me!
