Eibach pro-kit and Tokico blues

After changing the stock suspension to Eibach pro-kit and Tokico blues along with 17" Alessio wheels with 245-45 Goodyear Ducaro F1 tires (28 PSI front and 26 PSI rear) and a Courtesy FSTB, I noticed tremendous improvement in handling and looks and would never return to stock. My only gripe is the relative harshness of the ride.
My question to you guys is whether there is a definite advantage (and improvement) in ride quality if I change to H&R springs. From what I read on the forums the ride quality is softer than Eibachs. Is it worth spending the extra cash for the H&R's??

Thanks

If you want some ride quality back, then H&R's are the way to go.

I went from stock SE to H&R and Toks. Nice upgrade. Better than stock not too harsh at all.

Also, keep in mind, the Toks are quite sensitive, if you lower your car to 2" or more, those Toks are history. If you keep with the 1.3-1.4" drop of the H&Rs, you're good to go.

Ride quality is for girls. If you wanna corner like it's on rails and hae some sweet control in the curves, you gotta sacrifice something.

I agree with Str8ridin. I have sprints and tokicos, it's harsh but it corners really well. I also like the look of the bigger drop. Maybe if I decide to grow up some day I'll switch to H&R's, but until then I'll stick with the sprints.

I'd love to take your max for a spin and see if there is a difference between the Eibachs and H&R's. I'll stick with what I have for now. Anyway somebody says ride quality is for girls..!!

I have Tokico's and Eibachs and yes the ride is stiff and a bit harsh, but that's all good for the cornering. I just need some tires soon, but I'm waiting until I can get the rims in the package too ... my biggest complaint is the rattles I have in my car. The harshness really brings them out and it kinda annoys me. I just need to get in the trunk with a rachet set and tighten everything up.

You think that's harsh, try cutting your Eibachs with tokicos like i did! corners like a racecar but also rides like one too. just keep some tylenol in the glove compartment.

I'm switching to H&Rs after having the Eibach/Tokico setup for over 2 years now.

I just recently switched from Eibach to H&R (Tokico struts). The ride quality is much better, and the cornering loss is minimal. It feels like the cornering is more controlled with H&R. With the Eibachs, my car would sometimes bounce over a dip/bump in the middle of a corner, but the H&R's don't bounce as much. Just my 2 cents.

I am interested in getting a better ride quality but am not happy in spending $200 plus for new springs (plus the labor costs).
What to do! That is the question. Your opinion regarding the better ride quality is important and will probably make me spend the cash before the year is over.
