I've had them in 215/60-15 for about 28000 miles now.

They are great, you will not be disappointed. They are great in the dry and absolutely amazing in the wet.

Plus they look really cool.

How do Toyos T1-S compare against the RE950? These are the two I'm considering soon.

the T1-S is in a different class, The 950 is a all season performance tire and the T1-S is an ultra high performance tire. you should be comparing the T1-S to RE730's or S0-2/S0-3. 950's are H rated and T1-S are Z or W rated.
anyways, the 950 is a real good tire, we got invited to try the 950's when they first came out on a wet autocross. Good tire in rain and dry.

I've put approx 50 1/4 mile runs on this set and you'd never know it. They still have about 70% tread left. As I said, I've had them on since April 2001, about 28000 miles.

Wow, thats good. But, is it modded? I know with my CAI on that I can peel more and grab harder really. When I get my Y it should a little extra, but not too much I dont think. Thats good to hear that they are lasting great for you!

That's what I have on my car now I would have gotten the RE950s but they were about 15$ more expensive for each tire.... I wasn't ready to spend 60$ more for probably just a small difference since the Dunlop Sport A2s sounded like great tires as well... The A2s are awesome, got them on right now... super quiet, grip very very well in the dry and wet.. Very happy with them.

yeah, after looking at tirerack they are similar in most ways. I happen to think the agressive directional tread is worth the extra money from looks alone (but that's just me)
