Best Fog Light Bulbs

Best Fog Light Bulbs

Hey, Question for everyone. I saw a nice max riding around with some yellow h3's in the stock fog light housing. Anyone else sport this color, what type of bulb do you use? Thanks in advance...

They were probably Hella Yellowstars. I have a set and love them. Do a search on this though - I think they are currently manufactured differently and don't have such a nice yellow output. I have a 95 Max w/glass fog light lenses and run the 85 WATT bulb w/ no problems. Newer Maxs have plastic fog light lenses and may crack w/ the 85 WATT bulb. For reference, the factory bulbs are rated at 55 WATTS. Hope this helps.

I have been having a small problem with my right fog light bulb when running 85 watss...it always burns out on that particular side.....its been ok so far with the piaa i put in, but we'll see in time.....

Do any of you guys have, or know where I can get, a picture of these PIAA bulbs lit up? Since the yellowstars are not the same quality anymore I'd like to know what I'd replace them with. Thanks.

PIAA Super Plasma H3 is really nice. Purplish HID look when looking into them, but the light hits the road with a yellow tint. They compliment the Hanabi HID's nicely.
