20" do fit with no rub, do a search there is one max on the board with rims bigger than 20" and he did post a pic.

I'd recommend against it. They are typically very heavy and will slow down your car. Plus they require very small sidewalls which will make your car ride very rough. Tires will be spendy. Also I don't know how your roads are but I'd bend these in a heartbeat.

As for size? 245/25 20's or 235/30 20's would be better.

I don't know about the rubbing. Search is the right answer.

21's is what he has. I think they ran him about 7 grand or so for the rims alone he said.

20 inch rims make make your ride really rough, if your going to get 20's......make sure they strong cause its gonna feel like your riding on rim instead of rubber......potholes will screw em up, i'm guessing that you'll prolly need like a 235/30 tire

Didnt he already have his tire wells rolled or somethign when he had the 20's in though. That might be why the 21's fit so easy.

20"

I have 20" alba blazes on my 97 GLE. Email me if you want info, go with a 245-35-20 tire.

Your goal is to get the overall diameter of the tire to match the stock size tire. From there it is simple math.

Stock tire size
215/55 16 = 25.3" diameter - goal size

235/30 20 = 25.6" diameter - best size
245/25 20 = 24.8" diameter - tire's .8" too small
245/30 20 = 25.8" diameter - tires .5" too tall
245/35 20 = 26.8" diameter - tire's 1.5"! too tall

I've never seen some of those tire sizes before, there's really a 25 series tire for 20" rims?

Heck I didn't check to see if they where actually made. Looking at tirerack.com the only option for 20's is 245/35 20's and those certainly aren't the right size.

Ouch $275 per tire! I didn't even pay that much for my rims plus tires!
