hesitation

Today on my way to work I noticed my car was hesitating when I was trying to accelerate at high speeds (70-80) I have a 5sp, and when I was punching it to pass people it would sit for a second or two (if that) then go... never happened before. I drive my car extremely hard though. maybe there is just some reg things to do or something... In the 5-6 months I have owned it all I have doe is an oil change... put about 10k plus miles on it so far...

Would this related to fuel or something else?

Thanks!

78,584 miles, I guess I have put 13,000 miles on it.

I know the only maintenance I have done on it is the oil change, and the regular fluid check. So I am sure I overlooked something...

I have a lot to learn...

If the mileage numbers are correct, the 60K tune up may not have been done yet. The NGK Platinum plugs have a recommended life of 60K miles. There is also a good chance that the fuel filter has not been changed. I would recommend the following if for nothing more than it needs to be done:
Clean the throttle body
Change the spark plugs - NGK Platinum (Nissan factory)
Change the fuel filter
Change the transmission fluid
Oil change
Air Filter

I recently ordered my 60K tune up kit from www.nissan-accessories.com for $70.28 including shipping. I got 6 plugs, air filter, fuel filter, and oil filter.

Ok... I can go to courtesy and get what I need. I have jwt intake. I have the tranny fluid in my backseat...

So basically I just need spark plugs and a fuel filter. Should be things I can handle...

KANIKSU, I can honestly say that the only thing that helped me with the hesitation was cahnging the transmition fluid.
Man let me tell you, I've changed sparks, air intake, oil, exhaust, but it was still hesitating untill I've changed tranny juice...

When you changed your tranny fluid, did you also change the filter?

Ok, sorry if I am a little slow but how would changing the tranny fluid help with hesitation? I have a 5sp, and it happens when I am accelerating, not when I am shifting... I do have 5 bottles of redline fluid I just did not know what was involved with changing it so its been sitting for a few weeks...

I just got the fuel filter and plugs, i will see how that goes... Damn those spark plugs are expensive!!!

Oh, yea, you definetaly want to change filter too along with trans fluid. They also need to clean your transmission underneath.

What about speed hasitation, I don't really know, coz I have a similar problem here. Maybe it's timing, at least that's what they suggest in Chillton manual.
