exhaust for my max

exhaust for my max

ok i have a dual exhaust for my max.......jsut reg pip from the cat back. no resinator or mufflers....the sound is not bad but i am loosing hp cuz i dont have any back pressure....is tehre anyway to get a good exhaust for around 400 bux???? i am looking to spend about 400 bux on this exhaust setup and also get some HP gain...id appreciate any help....thanx!!!!!

just go to local shop tell them to make u a straight pipe andhook upa resonator and a 2k muffler u should be happy with that i was

How much did the intial exhaust cost you? Is it stainless steel or aluminum?

250 without muffler 2k muffler was justa loaner but i felt a big gain out of it noow i have some can called a muffler that makes load bass noise

I'm looking to keep power but have minimal noise...jsut enough to know its there....can a 2k max mufflar do this for me?

yes but also get a resonator if u havea y pipe

This is false. Low backpressure does not cost you power.

Low exhaust velocity costs you volumetric efficiency at low RPM.

i have dual exhaust for my car right now w/o mufflers and i did not need to cut out the spare tire well.....
