Bose Headunit lcd not appearing until 20 mins of driving

Now, I've seen this topic a couple of times so don't post any links to other threads. I still after reading bout this problem on the forum never read about anyone solved the problem and posted how it was done. The gap between working and not working are becoming shorter soon I think lcd will be completly gone for good. what are the alternatives than justing buying a new headunit.!!!!!

You can send it away to get fixed... search on the web through google or something. its not cheap, i just bought aftermarket instead of getting mine repaired... my CD became intermittent too..

goodluck

Since your car is out of warranty, I'm assuming the headunit is out of warranty too...but for the money it would take to send it off and repair it, I'm sure you could purchase a brand new headunit that would be even better...just suggesting you look into that, because that might be your only option

also, could the problem be caused by loose wires in the console?...just a thought...

buying a new headunit is going to cost way more then you think, because you'll have to get new speakers and wire them. There is also an adapter that you can plug in and use any headunit with the stock bose speakers and dont have the risk of blowing them.
