Opinions on wheels for Beige...

I have a '95 Pebble Beige GLE that I recently installed H&R's and AGX's on and now I NEED wheels. I have decided on 17x8's but I'm not sure what color would look best. I thought I had decided on Borbet Type E's but after seeing some pictures of them on a Beige car I wasnt too impressed. Because the car is a light color I think a darker color for the wheels would look better. These are a few that I think would look really good.

1. OZ Supperleggera (my favorite right now because they are LIGHT and have a 40mm offset)
2. Tenso Mean 6 in Gunmetal (not sure they will fit but I like the look)
3. RH Evolution S7 in Graphite (again, noy sure they wil fit)
4. SSR Competitions (yikes! these are too light for a daily driver)

Please let me know what you think. If you know of any to recommend feel free but keep in mind that I really dont want to spend more than $1,200 and I don't want to buy used. I do value your opinions and have learned a lot from them in the past and I dont want to make a costly mistake.

I treid a set of 18x8.5 Volk's TE37's bronze color, and they looked tight as hell!

"Too light"...I'm sorry, I'm not familiar with that term. Too light is like, too rich, or too much horsepower.

Weight is the enemy of ALL aspects of vehicle dynamics.

I'd get one of these 2 if I could afford wheels, they'd both look great on beige.

I agree; Plain silver wheels look good in our pebble/beige cars. I have Konig Maximums with the polished lips. They look pretty good to me.

I don't think I could justify spending four hundred dollars more to save two pounds per wheel over the OZ's which are already some of the lightest wheels I've found. In fact they are second only to the SSR's. I don't plan to race and the roads here are not too great. They always seem to be under construction and I'm afraid I would beat the SSR's up driving on them in a day-to-day situation.

Re: Opinions on wheels for Beige...

oh yeah, recently i was thinking about these:

they're only 17x7.5 bit they look phat as hell (IMO). depending on how dark they are they might not go well with a beige, on a superblack, though... hopefully i can find them on display somwhere.
