Rust story

yeah so i posted before about how my driver's side door was hit in 99 and the door skin was replaced. so after a couple years, the door started to rust already...and i just picked the car up from the Nissan collision shop that did the work originally. they didnt replace the panel, instead, just sanded and cleaned off the rust bubbling and repainted it all again (under warranty). is this a viable solution...am I going to possibly see more rust in the same location again in a few years? thanks...

That dosen't sound like good news. I can only imagine what the results will be like when they "repair" the replacement panel if it just started to rust on it's own without any damage. It's an OEM replacement, correct? My guess is that you will see rust again in a few years, but of course I hope that will not be the case. Good luck.
