Humming sound and lounder noise from engine than usual

For the past few months I noticed humming sound when I start engine and constantly irritating me. I have ’97 model. I took for servicing and he says drive belts have “glazed” and need to be replaced but he says there are in good condition and I can use it if I am ok with the noise. Any advise on changing drive belts. I have only 32,000 mile on vehicle so far.

They're easy to change, well, the acc. belts any way(A/C, Alt,) just take the front pass. tire off, and the plastic shroud covering the belt assembly, loosen the idler from under the hood, it looks like a gold colored bolt that sits right next to the horn. Then get under and loosen the pulley that is connected to the aforementined idler, and loosen the idelr bolt from under the hood until belts loosen.

This whole process should take ~ 20 minutes
