Hyper-White Map Light

Now that I got my blue dome light/door lights I want to get a matching map light. Is this the correct bulb to fit in the map light? http://www.xtremewhite.com/ORD-Light...52-1-1-1-1.cfm

That site is INSANELY expensive. I see PIAA 9004's for $99/pair!!! autosupermart.com has the same lights for $75/pair ... beware.

No, the base is too large. This one should fit:

And they want ~$15 PLUS SHIPPING!!! That's just outrageous.

Are you sure? I have that one in my map light, but I think they are both the same size, just different shape in glass.

Yeah that's what I thought. Plus it looks like it puts out more wattage, not to mention it being cheaper.

I could be mistaken, but the base of that first one looks to me like the base of a 1156, which is too big. But if you think I'm wrong, go for it, it's only $12.70. If it fits, let me know and I'll issue a humiliating public admission that I was wrong.

To be sure, you could go to your local auto parts store and compare an 89 or a 97 bulb to an 1895 (1895 is the correct size). If the bases are the same, then it will fit.
