Solo-Baric in the seat?

Hey i saw a maxima the other ay with part of the back seats stripped and i was wondering if a Solo-Baric would fit in the place where ther fold down arm rest/tray. That would really look tight, i just dont have a Solo-Baric to see if it would fit...Anyone done that yet?

im not a fan of kicker...theyre too boomy for me, but if youre gonna go after something like that, i would reccomend rear deck installation. just cut a hole and do it that way, cuz the back seat muffles the sound quite a bit.

as for subs i reccomend, Adire Audio.

if you want to read up on this brand (cuz most people havent heard of them, go here or here)

just for reference, the shiva is a 12", the tempest a 15", the maelstrom an 18", and the brahma is currently a 12" only, but will soon be available as a 10", 12", 15", and 18" versions.

for other audio related information, check out soundillusions.net

later,
eric

I don't see how the back seat would muffles the sound

sorry, i hadnt seen the pic, but a friend ive talked to about putting a sub there in a maxima said he put a 10" sub in one there (a 4th gen), and it did almost nothing, because it was muffled (that and drowned out by a 15" in the trunk)

Maybe he should know not to mix sub sizes in the same space it often results in cancellation. Also, he shoudl try putting the pass-through down and maybe it won't be so muffled The solo-baric idea is a great one! I never really thought about it. Once you close that arm rest tho, I can imagine you may get some rattling. However, this may be inconsequential since the rattling can more than likely be stopped. Good luck with it! I want some SPL numbers if you do end up doing it!

That looks tight! I just wonder if it's got the sound to back it up?
