I went from stock 205/65/15 on steel rim to 225/60/15. If you go to 16, 17 or 18 inch rims, you can go wider, i.e., 235/45/17.

Tirerack will have a Plus 1, 2, 3 conversion table, I'm sure, but here is what I used:

205 X 1.3 / 25.4 + 15 = 25.49"

width X height (.65 aspect times 2), divided by 25.4 to convert to inches, + 15 (height of stock rim)= 25.49"

So 225/60/15 would be:

225 X 1.2 / 25.4 + 15 = 25.62"

So I'm a little off (.13" higher), but I'm comfortable with that.

I think the older 4th Gen SE Models use 215/60/15, later ones used 215/55/16.

235/45/17 work out to 25.326".

Or just talk to the folks at Tire Rack (www.tirerack.com). If you are looking for a good, cheap stock replacement, I recommend the Firestone (yeah, I know, but good AS tires) Firehawk 225/60/15 HRs, $70 a tire. I found Dunlop D60A2s to be a great improvement over stockers and the Firehawks were still better than the D60's.
