RESETTING the ECU???

Would resetting the ECU make my car more hot(faster, more torque) ??? And if yes how would you guys do it???

Could you please tell me what is that for?? Some people said it was for resseting the timing or something. Wouldn't it make your car less sluggish? I don't know what it is?

One more thing: Does KNOCK sensor influence your driveability?

I'm not sure exactly what you're first quetion was getting at. For the second, a bad knock sensor will affect driveability. It will make the car more sluggish (less responsive), lower overall performance and decrease gas mileage.

I think you are supposed to reset the ECU if you get a y pipe or something, but just doing it for "fun" probably wont do anything

That's what I'm saying, I don't know anything about ECU and what it's for, so someone told me I needed to reset it, well..
