Intelliglow gauge needle installation on a 96(PLEASE HELP)

Intelliglow gauge needle installation on a 96(PLEASE HELP)

I've got everything apart and ready. I just need to know how to safly take the needles of w/out messing anything up. If anyone has sucessfuly done this or just any info it will be greatly appreciated. I have a 96(If that helps) Thank you.

You need to grasp them firmly and gently tug while turning them clockwise.

Ill give that a try. Thanks a lot. If i do mess it up is there a way to fix it?

Just go slowly and carefully and you won't mess it up. Rushing is your worst enemy here. If you do what guido said, you should be fine (just don't forget to calibrate them).

After I took my needles off, I also used a hairdryer to help loosen the glue holding the faces on to the guages so i could take them off. Then I put the intelliglow led's on and stuck the faces back on (the glue still held them) so that the wires for the intelliglow led's ended up under the faces.

If you screw up the cluster, the only way to fix it is to replace the gauge, not a cheap proposition. Just work slowly and don't try and force anything and you should be fine.
