The song I like to hear before I race is the song in the movie "Gone In 60 Seconds".I dont know the name of it or the artist but it gets me in the mood....to race that is...the one they listen to before they all ride out to go steal cars!

YEah I love DJ Sammy's "We're in Heaven"...it reminds me of two other classics:

Armand van Helden - You don't know me

Gigi D'Agostino - I'll fly with you (this song is totally awesome, even three years after I first heard it...I hit the repeat button every time my player gets to this song)

IF anyone has any more songs like these, please email me. I can't get enough of this stuff.

werd to HondaHatin'max and ODDJoB. Yall are probably the only ones I could take a long car ride with and not go insane because of wack music.

I don't have any particular songs I feel like namin' but there's so many great artists that haven't been named. What about Atmosphere, Aesop RiggidyRock, El-P, Cannibal Ox, and SOOOO MANY more. If you don't know you better ax somebody!

What I don't understand is how can anyone listen to Techno? It baffles the mind.

Can you mention some of lyrics?
I seem to remember that there may have been a garbage song or two? If it's garbage tell me some lyrics and I will find you the song...

Unfortunately that is not the song. This was I believe if not the 1st 5th gen, then one of those first new ones. It had the commercial i n the desert with the max driving fast and it says "0-60mph in 6.7 seconds, and 60-0mph in ?secs" and stops in front of a single flower.
The music to that commercial is cool, if somebody gots vid/name of song and can find this for me that be cool.

Whoa!! easy buddy I'm not one of those ****in E-heads that clubs every night, I probably like the same **** that you do...shouting out heads like cannibal ox and what not....I like Mos, Canibus and Talib as well, in addition to J-5 and Big L...besides, organizing my thoughts while driving with quick lyrical **** like rap is something I just am not able to do, so for that occasional point in time when I want to just cruise and think, I put some trance on.

I didn't mean to sound like I was gonna flip out and call anyone E-heads in my first post, sorry if it came off that way. I guess I could understand not wanting lyrics when there's deep thinking to be done. I try not to go too deep in my thoughts while driving cause I'd probably smash my car up, but when I do I usually listen to Jazz. I've never really dug techno at all. But then again, to each his own.

Peace.

wow finally somebody mentioned Christopher Lawrence, Y2KMaxGXE-R, i'd have no problems riding in your car. Then again i'd have no problems riding in any of the Maxima.org's member's cars because hey we all drive maximas, and then some. Good info on Super Street. But to add to the list which is great and long and informing:

Sasha and John Digweed
Paul Oakenfold
Nick Warren
Dave Seaman
Paul V. Dyk
DJ Tiesto
Iio
MDMA Vol. 3
Richie Santana
Seb Fontaine
Johnathan Peters
Tunnel Trance Force vol. 11 - Latest.
any Ministry Of Sound Trance Nation CD
also check out www.tranceaddict.com they have a lot of great trance tunes some for driving some for chilling all great for listening.

The song I've caught myself doing 75 on Ocean Parkway was
"Guess Who - American Woman" the part where the intro stops and a little breat and then the strumming starts up, amazing! just a perfect moment in time for some floor mashing WOT.
Then you have other great WOT songs:
Linkin Park - Run Away (basically the whole album)
Saliva - Click Click Pull
Orgy - Blue Monday
Papa Roach - Rast Resort
AC/DC
Kid Rock - Bawithaba, I am the bullgod, cowboy, american bada$$
Limp Bizkit - My Way, Rollin, MI-2 theme
Crazytown - Butterfly, Lollipop ****
Korn old and new (more old)
The Offspring - Any cd guaranteed to rock you (i particularly recommend smash track 2,3,4,5,7,8,etc.)
Nelly - EI, Hot ****
DMX - Ruff Ryders anthem, Party Up
Van Halen - Hot for Teacher <- the drums in the beginning just get you going crazy, and the guitar picks you up even faster
Gravediggaz - 1-800-SUICIDE - nice slower song to just Max to.
Filter - Hey man nice shot, can't you trip like i do
Crystal Method - high roller (entire vegas CD)
Prodigy - pick any cd you're bound to run out of gas/highway whichever comes first.

These are my picks off the top of my head.
Basically just anything that really gets you going is great!
