He basicly screwed about 10 or more people out of about 700 to 1000 bucks each. Look in the general forum. There is a sticky thread up top about it.

I am selling the VI "kit"

It is the piece in the middle of the diagram....The pictures do not show the cover, but it is included (see all the highlighted part numbers on the diagram)

The difference between this and a CAI is that this sits on top of the Engine and is a replacement for the manifold ("pipes") BEHIND the throttle body. Your CAi will still be functional, and may actually add even more hp increase after the mod. (This is being debated, but is something I will check out when I get a CAI).

I have ordered 2 and hope to have them by the 20th. Speedtrip and I ordered them, and we will both Dyno "before and after" and see what kind of increases are given. One other person (MardigrasMax) has installed this on his SC'ed/NOS'ed Maxima, and gained 25hp at the wheels. Noone is sure if gains on a NA Max will be more or less. We will see.

I will be starting a Group Deal shortly after I post Dyno results. The supplier I have (I live in Seattle, as my sig pic suggests) needs 30 days notice to get all the partsi n order, so expect 6-8 weeks for delivery, just to be safe.

Price will be $499-$570 shipped to your door, depending on shipping costs for multiple orders. I'm thinking my first order will be for 10 of them.

This kit does not include a vacuum system to activate it however, as it must be activated at a certain RPM range (4000+ or 5000+, I will try both when I Dyno to see best results).

So you will need:
Vacuum Canister (NAPA, $12)
RPM Switch (about $50.00)
MAP/Baro Switch (about $35.00)
Various hoses and clamps

Should be about another $100 total. I will post where to buy the RPM switch and MAP/Baro switch when I set up the group deal.

Thanks,
IanS

damn I wish these things were more readily available!! I just hate the idea of paying $670 for something (including the other parts) and not getting it for 6-8 weeks. Oh well, maybe someday. Take Care

I know, it sucks.

But unfortunately that's just the way it is. Maybe someone can buy one and pay someone to cast it and copy it (Not sure about the laws on this) and sell it cheaper.

Otherwise, it seems everyone that is selling these has the same prices and conditions.

Also, Good News!

They received the screws early, and are shipping out today!

Wahoo!.....should be here early next week.

I wasnt saying it was just you I know they are hard to get a hold of. I wish someone in the US could produce them. Then we'd be set!! Good luck with yours, if all goes will Ill get one from you anyway, even if I have to wait. Take Care
