starter probs....
lately its been gettin colder where i live, bout 20 or so and sometimes when i start my car the starter sounds like its gettin sluggish to start not like the normal peppy quick start like in the summer, normal or need to change starter? it starts but sounds like it won't...you know like a slow turnover, i have a barely year old optima so i doubt the battery is under charged but i'll grab a multi-meter and check but i think the problem lies elsewhere any help would b appreciated..thanks.
I just bought a 96 GLE. I work at a Nissan dealership. Mine is doing a similar thing. I asked out head nissan tech and he said there was a TSB which talked about the problem and they have came up with a different starter. It spins quicker giving a better startup for cold areas. You may want to get the story right from you local dealer.
