well, it goes like this....my lil bro drove my max and hit a damn pole wit it. not hard but hard enough to scratch my bumper and break my signal light on the driver side. i went on and drove my car for a couple of weeks. then one day i put the signal on to turn left. i noticed that the signal was blinking really fast. by the time i got home i check the light and it was not blinking. i replaced the bulb and it is still not coming on. now could it be that when i was driving my car w/ the broken signal lense and it was raining and it shorted out the light and blew a fuse? if so is the fuse located under the dash or is it the one under the hood?

I helped to fix a car that had a broken lens in the turn signal. It'd burn out the bulb, you'd replace it and it was fine until it'd rain and burn out again. It was replace/burn out over and over. I replaced the lens and it was fine again.

You said that the new bulb wouldn't work. Dunno, might be a bad replacement bulb, poor connection at the socket or a blown fuse??? Good luck with it. Get a voltmeter and look for current at the socket if you can.
