can I fit a trunk lid in my car?

suppose I buy one locally, How would I transport the sucker? I don't think it woudl fit in my trunk so would it fit in my backseat? I curse the 4th gen for no fold down rear seats.

It should fit in your backseat. Why don't you just measure yours and see for yourself.

Just another note, bring 2 towels or a heavy blankent to protect the interior of the car. The 2 pointy end of the trunk look like they can casue damage if not covered
