If u put a red bulb on the corners of the altezza lights where the 1194 bulb go would that me illegal.Can cops stop you for that ?

 

if u talkin bout that lil corner lights...it doesn't matter what u put cuz it's still illegal because it's suppose to be a red reflector...but putting a red bulb will draw less attention then hyper white or some other shiet like that...

 

Depends on where you live and what your state DOT sets for the Vehicle Code and compliance.

In Ca, your front turn signals must emit either an orange or white light, doesn't say specifically if the lens has to be orange or clear. The rear can legally be a red or orange light, but NOT WHITE!

So check with your state DOT. If it sez no, and you see 2K+ Honda Civics floating around with rear RED turn signals, point those out at someone at your Highway Patrol and ask "how" and "why"?

Make sure you use a bright bulb though when doing this. Some red ones suck and most people don't even distinguish it from the rest of your red reflectors.

 

i just taught about it corvettes have all red in the back of their car and they come like that from the dealer.I don't think i will have a problem .STupid local cop pulled me over last night and tole me to take my hyperwhites off from the bumper lights and on the altezza's.Sucks because i have had it for like a year now and they now start to mess with me about my car.

 

All my lights on my car were blue, I got pulled over 7 times. 8th i got a ticket 20bucks.

 

You're SUPPOSED to put a red bulb there.
