Ditching the Cancer Bin ( Ashtray )

Ok, I'm interested in removing the ashtray on my 99 GLE, I found some info on removal searching, but how do I plug up the hole left behind?

Was looking at using it as a spot for radar detect display, or just additional 12V plugs. Ideas, thoughts anyone?

There isn't a large amount of space there...keep that in mind.

Actually, I smoke, but I always keep a cup with water in it and put my smokes out in there, let it air out, and spray some air freshener before leaving the car.

And I NEVER smoke in the rain.

Anyway, just me going off. I know most of you all hate us smokers. I'm an addict, I admit it.
