I have a 4th Gen, Automatic. When the car is first started after extended periods of sitting and then driven steady at 20 mph(temp gauge is at C), the car hesitates on and off consistently for a few miles. I keep the pedal as steady as I can, but it acclerates slightly and then decellerates slightly by itslef.

I changed the fuel filter last week and cleaned the throttle body a few months ago but to no avail.

Any ideas? Thanks fellas...

 

fuel pressure? weak/clogged injectors, faulty ignition coil(s)? I really have no idea but would check the fuel pressure first.

 

How do I check the fuel pressure?

 

Could it be the same problem?
