Low Washer Fluid Light

Although my SE doesn't have the cold package that comes w/ the washer fluid light, and I'd like to know by a light when I'm low on washer fluid, so is it still possible to add a low washer fluid light to the dash and add all that sensing stuff from underhood or does the dash have to be changed just to get that particular light? How would I go at this? Or am I S.O.L.?

Sorry, I can't help you. I've seen this covered once before but a search didn't yield me any results. If I remember correct there is a wire all ready in place. I think it easy to hook up, I just don't remember. So, I am jumping into this thread to stay informed.

So if there already is a LWF (Low Washer Fluid) light in the dash & its all prewired, then it shouldn't take long to add the sender unit from the reservior or whatever, correct?

There has been some posts that helped me install the sensor. Been a while but still remember that only the LWF sensor is needed. Drill a whole on the WF tank bottom, put sensor in and plug in the already existing connector. Done. My 96 GXE has S/C package but I'm not 100%sure if all Max has the sensor connector but it can be easily found if there is/isn't one.

Thanx

Then if it's prewired I'm good to go just by adding the sensor specified in that thread, correct?
