Ok, I need some opinions. I've done a search and din't find any pics of pearl white 95/96 Maximas with only the hamburger shaved.

Here's the deal:
I'll only shave the hamburger, not the M A X I M A

I like the 'horizontal'-themed rear end of the 95-96 (horizontal spoiler line, groove in trunk lid, spaced M A X I M A goes really well with the keyhole, tail red/turn separator line is aligned with the M A X I M A)

So I have no plans of shaving the M A X I M A, just the hamburger but I need some opinions. I photoshopped my rear end to remove the emblem, yes or no?

Shave the burger.

It looks good either way but I didn't make my choice, some punks ripped my burger off and I had to clean it up.

Looked funny for a little while but then I got used to it.

Burger on, MAXIMA on = looks ok

Burger off, MAXIMA on = looks ok

Burger on, MAXIMA off = looks bad

Shaved on light colored cars = looks bad

I'd shave it.

I've been meaning to myself.

Is it me or does the hamburger make it hard to wax the trunk?
(ie think inside the "bun" )

vbxmaxima, hahah .. I agree, it gets very dirty inside the bun & my buffer can't get in there. I'm probably going to shave it this weekend if weather permits. 97BlackMax, thanks for your comments.

Clee, you're right ... all shaved on a light colored car doesn't look good.

Conrad283, the tails make a huge diff ... I am so glad I have it.

ny96max, you have a black car ... you have no say . J/K

DUDE...lightning boy is what we call this little dweeb in my team sports class...since he's a quick skinny little freshman we call him SVT lightning boy...weird!

$5+shipping and you got yourself a deal. most of it still has fresh paint and clearcoat too!

...Oh BTW i'm talking about my "previous" lip

BTW, 97BLACKMAX, my lip won't fit your car.. your just gonna have to get the ooglier flatter 97-99 one

I think the 98' model with the MAXIMA as 1 piece needs the burger shaved....

As for the wide M A X I M A on the earlier models..lose it..and the burger.

hey go to the junk yard and get a 98 MAXIMA emblem..<?>

take care,

Dale

I took my burger off my dark green 96 and I like the way it looks. I absolutely agree w/ the horizontal theme. I like the spacing between the letters, especially w/ the groove on the trunk. Lose the burger.

I think you should shave it and get teh 97-99 style MAXIMA letering the one that is closer together. THat looks better then the split up letters. If not, keep the old lettering and keep the burger.

It's not available in the US, sorry

I'm still suffering from post-RHD experience (keep hitting the wiper wand instead of the turn).
