question about upper intake

well ever since i made the upper intake portion, it seems like the car is hogging fuel....is this common from taking away the resonator and having just the straight cuppling? thx

Is it possible you are driving more agressivly to hear the cool intake noise?

Lucky for you that you don't have a CAI. You'd be flooring it every second just to hear it. My mileage went to trash the 1s week I put on my CAI. The CAI has the best sound.
