i dont know the exact steps required but....

somehow fill a big tub with hot water and put some black dye in there and soak the material.

that is just a basic idea of it. you will have to find some dye first and read the directions and see what it requires. make the decision for yourself to see if it is possible.

but basically what i meant was: simply soak the material in an actual dye to change the color of it permanently. know what im trying to say?

Yep, the paint has remained on. No one has complained about it coming off on there clothing and the smell of spray paint has now long since left. All and All i'd say it was probally my best mod for the price. 2 days of work, and 15 dollars of paint.

So... you didn't actually paint the seating area? just the edges of the seats right? At least thats what it looks like. I would be more worried about the paint coming of on your clothes if it were actually on the seating area.
