Tried to reset my ecu and there is a major problem

Ok isn't the ecu on he passanger side hidden on the left under the consol? I turned the screw to "reset it" and it snapped, the screw just cracked in half, what do I do?

Wrong side

The ecu is on the driver's side, to the right of the gas pedal. You can get to it by removing the black panel which is held on by 2 snap-on clips and piercing the thin plastic warning label which covers the screw, if needed.

I'm only just beginning to know my max so I have no idea what screw you killed. Hopefully nothing painful..

The Check Engine Light sticky will tell you all you need to know, but as I'm very bored - with a small/medium flathead screwdriver and the car in the ON position (but not running)....

1) Turn screw clockwise all the way until it stops
2) Wait 2 secs, turn it back until it stops
3) Immediately repeat 1)
4) Wait 2 secs, turn it back again.
5) If you've done it right the CEL will flash a 0505 at you. At that point I just turn the car off and then fire it up. The CEL will go out.

There is no "reset/adjustment" screw for the ECU on the passenger's side! Maybe, you snapped the "mounting" bolt that secures the ECU?
