One of a kind Ideas

Hey , since the 96-95 maximas dont have the red/clear lights being made for them anymore, and the ones u do find that are so rare really dont look that good, since the red never matches.

I was woundering if a 95-95 nissan maxima tail lights can be converted to a 97-99.... Ive seen pics of the 97-99 and they look kinda close, but ive never seen anothere maxima ( 97-99 ) up close so i cant say for sure...does anyone know?

Not without some body work... The tail end of 97-99 and 95-96 Maxima's are different altogether... Won't work.

Wrong. The outer tails will work with no body work, all you need is a new trunklid from a 97-99 for the inner tails to fit.

Wouldn't you also need the 97+ rear bumper???

I'm not sure but I do remember that the the whole rear end of the 97+ models have different trunk, tail lights, and bumper. I'm not sure if the 97+ trunk will line up ok with the older rear bumper. You guys should give it a shot. I happen to like my 96 rear end. But then again I have red/clear tails.

Anyone interested I have an extra set. Email me for pics.

What do you want for them? If it's reasonable, I'll take them off your hands. Please send pics.

By the way, nice looking car!

Re: Wouldn't you also need the 97+ rear bumper???

I've seen a 97+ max with a 96 trunk lid on it, also with the 96 inner taillights. It looks like the trunk lids are completely inter-changeable, but the inner taillights have to match the trunk lid.
