97 Maxima timing Belt ... How much??

97 Maxima timing Belt ... How much??

Howdy Y'all....At this point I'm on borrowed time with my Maxima...107k, and havent changed the timing belt yet. Call me crazy. I guess it's time, before something horrible happens... Question is .. How much am I going to pay????

You are crazy.

Your car doesnt have a timing belt. It has a chain. This chain doesnt get changed.

Timing belt

4th gen doesn't have a belt, it has a chain. Supposedly good for the life of the car. try searching and you will find the answer to most of your questions...

The good news is the $1000 it would have cost you to change the chain (yup thats the average cost) can now go to a nice Nitrous setup. Lucky you!
