The break light on my 95 Maxima is ON for a while now. It came on about 6 month ago when I drove the car cold in a cold night. It went away then it came back again about 2 month ago and since then is stayed ON. The oild level is fine and I don't know if there is anything elase can cause the light to stay on. The breaks are working fine otherwise.

 

It sounds like it could be the switch on the E-brake handle or a bad electrical connection at the master cylinder. Check the connections to be sure they are clean. You can also check the switch at the E-brake by disconnecting it and checking for continuity between the pins. There should be continuity when the handle is up.

 

What are the chances the fluid level switch is sticking? I guess the same chance as the e-brake switch. That's the only two things I can think of too.
